Urban Vinyl vs Anime Figures
I like Urban vinyl (Kidrobot, Rotofugi, Tokidoki... that kind of thing). Some people see them as toys, others see them as works of art while others see them as a commodity to be bought and sold.
They're popular in the US. I have a few. One thing I would like to have are those cool anime figures that are big in Japan. Unlike urban vinyl which are usually build up of simple shapes, these figure are more detailed and definitely more animated.

Anime
Yes I'm nerding out. Don't expect me to dress up as a character any time soon.
K-ON!
Synopsis: K-On!’s story revolves around four Japanese high school girls who join their school’s Light Music Club to try to save it from being disbanded. However, they are the only members of the club, and the last recruit, Hirasawa Yui, has no experience in playing instruments or reading sheet music.
The music is AWESOME.

Synopsis: The story revolves around Puragu or Jūden-chan, a mysterious office lady (OL) who came to our world from a parallel world to “charge” up dejected people.
The art/animation is nice.
